Cory Okeefe & 9Studio created this appetising microsite for Thrillist's Best New Restaurants 2019 list. The cover is a generous overhead shot of a shared table, with hands reaching for colourful plates, forks and a wristwatch catching the light. Right in the middle, a tilted card stacks a solid red "Best New" headline above the word "Restaurants" repeated in red outline letters, finished with a round yellow 2019 sticker. The pale blue frame, slightly skewed white photo border and tiny red "Scroll down" prompt give the whole thing the feel of a lively printed food supplement. It is a lovely example of editorial energy and playful typography brought to the screen.
