Tom Parkes keeps things bold and direct on his portfolio at tparkes.com. A vivid coral field fills the screen, stamped with huge black sans-serif letters reading 'Digital Designer' and a friendly introduction to his work in UI and branding. A black-and-white photographic strip anchors the foot of the hero, adding contrast and movement to the flat colour above. It is confident, Swiss-flavoured UI design with punchy typography and nothing wasted. Clean, considered and instantly memorable.
