Rahul Bhogal makes a loud, self-assured first impression for the engineering firm Spline Group. The entire screen is drenched in a single vivid crimson, against which enormous black grotesque lettering spells out “A leading mechanical, electrical, &…” in tightly stacked lines that fill the viewport edge to edge. A compact “spline®” wordmark and a “Menu +” toggle are all the chrome the page needs, leaving the type to carry the whole composition. The result is bold, brutal and impossible to ignore — a masterclass in doing more with one colour and one typeface. It is striking, type-driven web design whose fearless typography turns a technical services brand into a graphic statement.
