Haley Park
July 16, 2022
Mindsparkle Mag
Haley Park gives her 2022 portfolio a wonderfully unexpected Victorian-revival makeover on haleypark.design. Pale blue and cream panels are trimmed with ornamental flourishes, fleurs-de-lis and a delicate engraved sun, while her name arches across the top in an elegant art-nouveau display serif. Curling script labels, "Welcome to my website", "Case Studies" and "Design, Prototyping, & Stuff", lend a warm, storybook charm rarely seen in a portfolio. Framed, arch-topped thumbnails preview each case study like antique picture plates. It is characterful web design where decorative typography turns a personal portfolio into a delight.
