Herdl made pest control look like a tropical holiday, which is no small achievement. The Pest Stop Boys homepage is a dense collage of flat vector foliage in orange, emerald, cobalt, navy, coral and dusty pink, layered so the leaves overlap into a jungle canopy. The name sits over it in heavy sans capitals that alternate between white and navy, so the words weave in and out of the greenery. Hidden in the middle, a tiny beetle and the silhouette of a fly give the joke away and reward anyone who looks twice. Bold illustration and fearless colour make this one of the friendlier pieces of service web design around.
