The Karlssonwilker site is as gleefully maximalist as the New York studio’s reputation suggests. karlssonwilker.com opens with a kaleidoscopic, mandala-like collage stitched together from the studio’s own projects, then drops into a dense, wall-to-wall grid of thumbnails spanning publication design, packaging, product, environmental graphics and corporate branding. Everything is catalogued under plain category labels, so the riot of colour and imagery stays browsable rather than overwhelming. The contrast between the exuberant visuals and the matter-of-fact structure is exactly the kind of wit the studio is known for. It is a joyful survey of graphic design and art direction at full volume.
