Eri Miyagi crafted this serene digital home for 696, a New York shop devoted to a carefully curated range of ceramics and objects. The design leans into a warm, earthy palette of taupe, cream and deep indigo, letting still-life photography of hand-thrown vessels, plates and vases rest on gallery-like plinths. A delicate, airy serif wordmark and generous white space give the whole experience a calm, editorial poise closer to a museum catalogue than a storefront. Artist features such as Yuichiro Hori are folded in with the same quiet reverence, celebrating the makers behind each piece. It is a lovely example of restrained art direction and considered web design working hand in hand.
