Charl Laubscher’s personal site is a study in dark, cinematic minimalism, credited to the studio Love + Money. A single iridescent, chrome-like skull floats at the centre of a pure black canvas, its coppery reflections doing all the heavy lifting against the void. Everything else is stripped back to crisp white type: the name, a few navigational cues and a boldly underlined email address that becomes the hero element itself. This confident use of 3D rendering and restraint makes for a memorable slice of web design where less truly is more.
