Barbara Anna Husar

Szenario built a wonderfully offbeat home for artist Barbara Anna Husar at husar.solar, and it wears its humour proudly. A serene photograph of a crimson hot-air balloon drifting over hazy alpine peaks sits at the centre, cheekily captioned Flying Udder, while a dragonfly rendered entirely in tiny blue dots hovers to one side like a hand-plotted constellation. Spare navigation reading Husar, Art, Life frames the composition with plenty of white space. The mix of grand landscape photography and playful, illustrative detail gives the site a poetic, gallery-like calm. It is an inventive marriage of art direction and delicate illustration.
