B14 celebrated fourteen years in business with an anniversary microsite built on pure Swiss discipline. The opening chapter counts the years in coffee: a small line of text, then ‘Coffee Drinking’ set enormous in black neo-grotesque capitals and lowercase, with a Swiss railway clock ticking beside it on an otherwise empty white field. A grey sticky bar across the top lists the chapters ahead, from Heroes to Code, Design and a closing thank you, so the whole story is visible in one glance. A single black arrow at the bottom left is all the encouragement the page offers, and it is enough. Confident typography and a lot of white space make this a charming piece of studio web design.
