There is an infectious sense of fun to the studio portfolio Lama Lama, which opens on a moody near-black stage and a bold headline declaring the team 'seriously playful and in it with our hearts.' A close-up of an eye peeks out from behind a cluster of soft, rounded pale-blue tiles, a playful masking device that hints at the interactive surprises waiting inside. Crisp white typography and generous negative space keep the layout confident and uncluttered, while a little pixel-smiley mark and a 'Draw something' prompt reinforce the childlike spirit. It is warm, characterful and just a touch mischievous. The result is a memorable piece of web design that wears its personality proudly at lamalama.nl.
