KOBU Agency turned KOBU Foundry into a type shop that feels like a game. The dark hero welcomes visitors with a large, friendly headline, while a 3D white bunny on a skateboard leaps between chunky, textured letters in teal, lilac and orange. Below, the palette softens into warm greige and cream sections: a pair of burgundy sneakers tangled with black letterforms greets “fellow type lovers”, and a “We dare you to Play!” section invites visitors to drag a game cartridge into a line-drawn console to discover fonts. A vertical ticker along the edge reading “kobu foundry . entertainment system” adds to the retro-gaming charm. Witty, tactile and full of type design love, with a generous dose of 3D design.
