Olya Black gave this handmade vegan food site a cheerful, hand-drawn welcome that is impossible to scroll past with a straight face. A pale blue sky filled with soft cartoon clouds sits behind a badge logo of two bearded brothers, and the headline arrives in a bouncy green brush script outlined in cream. Vector tomatoes, a glossy red pepper, mushrooms and edamame are scattered around the words as if they had just rolled onto the page. A torn paper strip underneath carries the promise of the first plant-based kitchen in Brisbane, framed by two small olive sprigs. It is warm, appetising illustration put to work in friendly web design.
