Wildlabs created this beautifully understated digital catalogue for the painter Flora Scales, letting the artwork lead every decision. The interface floats inside a rounded, browser-like frame on crisp white, where a single luminous still life — oil on canvas, all warm ochres, pinks and soft greens — takes centre stage. A tidy top navigation of Catalogue, About, Information and Search sits in a quiet neutral sans, while the work’s title, date and archive credit are tucked modestly in the corner. Presented at Flora Scales, it is an exercise in gallery-grade restraint and generous negative space. We love the editorial calm of this web design, which treats an archive with the care it deserves.
