This atmospheric portfolio, credited to Daniele Buffa, Fabio Carretti, Francesco Michelini & Luigi De Rosa, wraps a designer’s introduction in swirling clouds of dark teal ink. Elegant serif type drifts across the fluid background — ‘Hey, I’m Daniele Buffa, a Digital designer based in the sunny London’ — with a rainy black-and-white shot of Big Ben and a ghosted ‘About’ setting a moody, cinematic scene. Small touches like a folded paper boat and a promised ‘GIF Wall’ hint at the motion and playfulness within. It is a richly crafted piece of motion design and art direction, atmospheric and personal in equal measure.
