Designed by Gilles Tossoukpé and Michael Garcia, the site for organ musician Benjamin Righetti is a study in editorial restraint. An enormous black grotesque wordmark spells the performer’s name across a crisp white page, its confident letterforms doing nearly all of the visual work. A single low-key portrait, the musician caught in profile under dramatic lighting, anchors the lower right and adds quiet gravitas, while understated “Menu” and “Scroll” cues invite the visitor deeper. The pairing of monumental typography with generous negative space feels timeless and appropriately musical in its sense of rhythm. It is elegant, purposeful web design that lets one name resonate.
