Area 17 celebrates the turn of the year with a bold, typographic ‘Year in Review’ that turns numbers into pure graphic energy. Enormous digits reading ‘2021’ and ‘2022’ interlock and overlap across a grid of black, electric purple and white, cropped so tightly that the letterforms become abstract shapes. The studio’s name sits neatly top-left, a warm greeting peeks in at the top, and a modest ‘2021 – Year in Review’ label anchors the corner. The Swiss-inspired restraint and fearless scale make the composition feel both playful and impeccably crafted. It is a masterclass in oversized typography and editorial design, viewable on the Area 17 site.
