Otis is a concept biotech company that develops and manufactures mycelium-based bio-electric infrastructures. In an alternate timeline, mycelium is engineered to conduct electricity on a mass scale — its capacity to store and deliver energy in a compact, environmentally friendly manner enables quantum computing and AI technologies to integrate into the planet’s biome.
Goda Kairiūkštytė approached the identity with a custom logotype that features a cell divided into five perceptual senses, serving simultaneously as a logomark and symbolising a closed circuit of biological intelligence. The mark functions as both a scientific notation and a brand symbol — precise, diagrammatic, and unmistakably alive.
Supporting visuals were created using a combination of HTML, Blender, and AI, each reflecting imagined scientific studies on mycelium growth factors and their application as electricity conductors. The result is a visual identity that sits between speculative design and rigorous research aesthetics.
