Vig Bar turns a New York cocktail spot into a piece of pure typographic theatre, designed by Talia Cotton. Three colossal black letterforms — a sweeping V, an eye-like “i” whose dot becomes a bold concentric target, and a towering G — dominate a stark white screen. Around them, tiny functional details do the practical work: room links, opening hours, the Spring Street address and a single red email accent that punctuates the monochrome. It is disciplined, brutalist-leaning web design where scale, negative space and typography carry all the confidence. Cool, graphic and unmistakably downtown, it proves a bar’s website can be as characterful as the room itself.
