Charmer Studio brings scholarly warmth to Polka, a Russian literary project devoted to the canon of great books. Rows of crimson book spines line the top of a soft cream page, while an elegant serif wordmark and understated navigation set a distinctly editorial, almost print-like tone. Featured spreads pair red cover cards with long-form articles, archival black-and-white author portraits and a handsome “Russian Heresies” timeline running from 1922 to 2002. A dramatic “Three Wars” section floats red volumes over drifting smoke, showing real art direction at play. It is a refined exercise in editorial typography that treats literature with the reverence it deserves.
