New & better Google fonts

Google’s refreshed Fonts directory makes browsing and pairing typefaces a genuinely enjoyable experience. Clean specimen cards preview families such as Open Sans, Roboto, Lato and Oswald in real sentences, while a tidy sidebar filters by Serif, Sans Serif, Display, Handwriting and Monospace and sorts by what is trending. The generous white layout and warm red accents keep the focus squarely on the letterforms themselves. It is a functional, beautifully organised piece of web design that puts open-source typography and type design front and centre. A hugely useful resource from Google at fonts.google.com.
