Neal Fletcher's portfolio doubles as a quiet manifesto for a freelance developer, designer and type-foundry founder based in Liverpool. A plain, honest header states who he is before an orderly grid of project thumbnails unfolds — the Hockney-inspired A Bigger Picture, the deep-purple Kroswells cocktail site and a run of crisp studio websites built with careful web development. Interspersed are specimens from his own Cliff Type foundry, small typographic experiments that reveal a love of letterforms and original type design. The muted palette, generous spacing and understated navigation keep all the attention on the work itself. It is a clean, credible showcase that spans code and craft.
