Embacy brings a literary sensibility to 21 Reflections of Dostoevsky, a project that treats a nineteenth-century author as a piece of contemporary design. A vintage black-and-white portrait of Dostoevsky is set inside a stark white panel and sliced through by his oversized name, rendered in an expressive mix of upright serif and flowing italic. The tight black framing and dramatic scale give the composition a museum-like poise. Restrained yet striking, it is a confident study in typography and editorial web design.
