Lu Yu introduces a personal portfolio as a piece of typographic craft in its own right at Lu Yu, opening on the line “Made With Love & Purpose”. Set against pure black, an expressive high-contrast display serif — full of stylised cuts and playful ligatures — glows in white and soft lilac, with a delicate script monogram anchoring the corner. Quiet labels like “A collection of artifacts” and a single email address keep the focus squarely on the lettering. A glimpse of a lilac image block at the fold hints at the work waiting below. It is a moody, confident showcase where distinctive typography and type design do all the talking.
