Daniela Covarrubias grows a houseplant guide into a lush visual delight with How Many Plants. Colossal black letters spelling the name are shelved among olive-green line drawings of pots, books and watering cans, interspersed with richly textured, hand-painted plant collages. The warm cream backdrop and typewriter-style navigation (“Guides”, “Care”, “About”) lend the whole thing a cosy, zine-like charm. Every scroll reveals another shelf of botanical detail, turning plant care into an illustrated wander. It is a joyful marriage of illustration and editorial web design that clearly loves its subject.
