Gabe Ferreira built Immersive Video as a playful proposal for how full-bleed video might live natively on the web. The homepage stacks a colossal grotesque headline — “A proposal for immersive video on the web” — in heavy black type, then punctures it with a bright green play button and a floating clip of a purple-haired puppet. Monospaced labels like “Captions” and “View this project on Github” frame the experiment with an open, engineering-minded honesty. It is a confident, high-contrast piece of interactive design that treats typography and moving image as one restless layout. A concise study that celebrates the medium rather than merely demonstrating it.
