Oslo studio Heydays designed and built this serene showcase for Norwegian furniture maker Hjelle. Under the heading “Objects that stay”, a crisp white grid frames each sofa and lounge chair on its own soft pastel backdrop, letting the terracotta, mustard and dusty-pink upholstery do the talking. Slim sans-serif type and acres of whitespace echo the brand’s promise of form, quality and comfort built to last for generations. The measured pacing and gallery-style photography make browsing feel unhurried and premium. It is textbook Scandinavian restraint and a clean piece of web design with careful art direction.
