Color Theory

Colortheory

Color Theory put together this vivid, gallery-like site that celebrates exactly what its name promises. Set against a soft lilac gradient, the page opens with a bold, painterly hero - swirling clouds of magenta, blue and coral behind the words "Color Theory" - before scrolling into a curated grid of saturated abstract artworks. Gradient architecture, an explosive origami burst, fluid liquid forms and floating colour swatches all sit in generous white space, each one a small study in hue and contrast. Playful captions defining tinting, toning and shading turn the site itself into a lesson in colour. It is an energetic, art-directed piece of web design for anyone who loves a rich, expressive palette.
