Glamuzina Architects pairs its New Zealand houses with an unexpectedly graphic web presence, laying photography over a fine dotted grid punctuated by blocks of red, teal and sunshine yellow. Monospaced captions and a repeating, staircased “PROJECTS” headline lend an architectural, blueprint-like precision to the page. Warm images of timber and concrete homes — Matakana, Lake Hawea, Blackpool — are anchored by bright rectangles that guide the eye down the layout. The tension between clinical structure and vivid colour makes the studio’s work feel both rigorous and alive. It is a smart marriage of graphic design and architectural art direction.
