Catanzaro Tattoo Fest

#00F Agency crafted this moody, elegant site for Catanzaro Tattoo Fest, the Calabrian convention celebrating the art of ink. Against a near-black backdrop, softly blurred tattooing photography sets the atmosphere while a towering gold serif display spells out "CATANZARO TATTOO FEST" across three commanding lines. The warm metallic type against the darkness feels ceremonial and refined, a world away from the usual tattoo-scene grit. Crisp Italian copy introduces the three-day festival of ink, performances and music with quiet confidence. The result is a beautifully restrained bit of web design carried almost entirely by its striking typography.
