Adam Nocek is an academic working across design, media and philosophy, and Gabriela Baka & Code by Dannnk translate that into a portfolio that is genuinely playful. Against a near-black backdrop, soft white blobs pool and divide like cells under a microscope — a nod to biology — with orange hotspots and floating labels for Biology, Design, Media and Philosophy that map out his fields. A giant, pale “Adam Nocek” wordmark grounds the composition while a slim orange bar and a “scroll” cue keep things moving. The organic, mitosis-like motion gives an intellectual subject an unexpectedly warm, tactile character. It is inventive interactive design and lively web design in equal measure.
