The challenge was to build a brand that felt equal parts scientific and soulful; rigorous enough to hold its own with clinicians and researchers, yet warm, modern, and human enough to resonate with everyday consumers.
Smack Bang anchored Land Lab’s world in duality: from the land, formulated in the lab. The visual identity draws on earthy depth and scientific precision; rich tones inspired by the Australian landscape balanced with structured typography and custom forms that nod to lab-grade grids. Every detail honours the brand’s ethos of connection: circles within the logotype symbolise wholeness, continuity, and the meeting of native plant wisdom and modern research.
Brand Language Design
The designers shaped Land Lab’s voice to be calm, science-led, and progressive; cutting through an industry full of noise with clarity and credibility. The language system balances clinical precision with cultural respect, making complex science accessible without watering it down.
The tone avoids the clichés of wellness (“clean, green, natural”) and instead builds trust through transparency, rigour, and reverence. Every word reinforces Land Lab’s positioning as a new standard for supplements: powerful enough to satisfy the sceptics, poetic enough to inspire the believers.
