
Pollen is an artisanal beverage distribution agency based in Montreal — and its brand identity matches the craft and character of the drinks it delivers. Jean-Michel Mercier, working alongside brand strategist Eliane Cadieux and illustrator and animator Thomas Bertrand, developed a full visual system that balances warmth, wit, and a genuine love for quality beverages.
At the heart of the identity is a custom illustrated mascot — a cheerful character that brings personality to every touchpoint, from packaging to digital applications. The brand's signature green anchors a palette built around craft and warmth: earthy tones, cream, and supporting colours that reflect the breadth of beverages Pollen represents. Motion design plays a central role throughout — animated logo sequences, colour reveals, and a web identity that gives the brand a genuine sense of life across screens.
The logotype and typography feel at once approachable and considered — handmade in spirit, rigorous in execution. The system extends across print collateral, packaging, environmental applications, and social media, giving Pollen a visual voice as distinct as the beverages it champions.
