Created by 51North, Woodwork’s “Gunfight” showcase is a gorgeous, cinematic ride wrapped in a deep plum backdrop. Warm, painterly illustrations carry a western-style brand manifesto — saloon silhouettes, playing cards, a desert sunset dotted with tiny figures — before storyboard frames and a swashy hand-lettered “Gunfight” logo reveal the craft behind the film. The blend of 2D and 3D animation is presented with real storytelling flair, each scroll unveiling another beautifully rendered scene. It is rich, atmospheric and full of character. A standout piece of web design brimming with illustration and animation.
