Run For The Hills gives London restaurant Temper a smoky, characterful identity that practically smells of woodsmoke. Charred, hand-brushed display type — “WHOLE ANIMAL BARBECUE,” “BOOK A TABLE” — sits against a warm cream backdrop scattered with soot-like flecks, then gives way to deep charcoal sections for each location. Mouthwatering overhead photography of whole roasts and shared feasts does plenty of the selling, while retro touches like a vintage TV and a record player add a playful, rough-around-the-edges charm. Sections for Temper Soho, City and Covent Garden are introduced with moody interior shots of open fire-pits and butchery counters. It is a bold, appetising blend of branding, art direction and rich food photography that fits the fire-cooked concept perfectly.
