This portfolio for photographer Stephen Wells, designed by Seachange Studio, is a masterclass in getting out of the imagery's way. An oversized "S" and "W" monogram stretches across the top of the page, with only a whisper of navigation beneath, leaving vast white margins around each portrait. The photography itself is bold and characterful — a red-bearded man against cool teal, a multi-exposed basketball player mid-motion, a suited figure lit by soft rainbow gradients — and the restrained framing makes every frame feel like a gallery print. The typographic art direction is deliberately quiet, all fine sans-serif labels and precise alignment. It is an elegant, gallery-like showcase that trusts the work to speak.
