SOTDKITAMURA MAKUR

Studio Details Inc. crafted this dark, cinematic experience for Japanese pillow maker Kitamura Makura, in business since 1923. A deep-red circle glows like a rising sun behind a craftsman bent over his sewing machine, while dotted-outline serif letters spell out "Let The World Sleep." across the black canvas. The restrained "Explore" button and quiet line "the technique of sewing that has been cultivated through almost 100 years of history" let the heritage speak for itself. Confident art direction and elegant typography turn a century of craft into something genuinely atmospheric. See it live at kitamura1923.com.
