Created by Serious Business, the site for Reykjavik Fashion Festival channels the raw Icelandic landscape into an elegantly moody experience. A deep black canvas frames dramatic monochrome photography — swirling star trails and a wave breaking across black volcanic sand — paired with a graceful serif that shifts into italic for the tagline “Different by nature”. Short, poetic lines such as “Ruffled, Raging, Rok” give the layout the cadence of a fashion editorial rather than a conventional event page. The restrained palette and generous negative space let the imagery and typography breathe. It is atmospheric, beautifully art-directed web design that captures the drama of the North Atlantic.
