UFOMAMMOOT live up to their “we live behind your screen” motto with a website that dives headfirst into the dark and the experimental. Inky black backgrounds are laced with glowing circuit-board illustrations and a floating processor chip, before red-and-green split panels introduce a VR game and 3D robot characters. Bold condensed type, moody scenes and a nod to a WebVR version give the whole thing the feel of a playground for digital tinkerers. It is confident, atmospheric and unmistakably built by people who love the medium. A striking piece of web design with real appetite for 3d and interactive craft.
