Oliver Thomas Klein built OTK Studio as the home of his design and technology practice, and the result is a wonderfully confident piece of editorial minimalism. A monumental grotesk wordmark stretches edge to edge across the top of the screen, sitting over a split layout of warm off-white on the left and a quiet black-and-white photograph of two skaters on the right. Beneath the intro text, the projects are listed in a clean ruled index, each row tagged with little coloured dots that map to strategy, art direction, design, development and photography. It is a smart, playful way to show how each project was made without adding any visual noise. Calm, precise and full of personality, OTK Studio is a lovely reminder of how much good typography can carry a web design on its own.
