Index brings a scientific elegance to Neuraal, the site of a French artistic and technical design bureau (“Bureau d’Étude Artistique et Technique”). The long-scrolling layout alternates crisp light sections with deep charcoal ones, each threaded together by delicate constellation-like line drawings whose nodes and hairline connections echo the studio’s neural namesake. Refined French copy is set in a restrained typeface, italic accents lending rhythm to numbered chapters that unfold the offer one considered step at a time. The whole piece feels precise and intellectual, a quiet dialogue between text, negative space and geometry. It is a beautifully controlled exercise in typography and monochrome web design.
