mat dobson captures a sense of childlike wonder with doodlar, an app that turns hand-drawn scribbles into real, three-dimensional creations. The landing opens bright and friendly: a bouncy “doodlar” wordmark in navy and teal, complete with little doodle flourishes over the letters, above the cheerful line “Make drawing real. Put pen to paper and watch it come to life.” A hand-drawn yellow arrow leads the eye down into a teal panel scattered with white doodle motifs, where a phone-style card shows a sketched elephant magically brought to life as an augmented-reality creature in a park. The playful type, squiggles and colour make the concept instantly legible and fun. It is a joyful piece of illustration-led UI design.
