Nighthawks is an independent fashion retailer based in Fukuoka, Japan, known for curating labels such as Sunsea, Our Legacy, Hender Scheme, and Namacheko. Dazze Studio built their digital presence as a showcase website that reflects the quiet, considered sensibility of the brands they carry.

The web design earned six international accolades — Special Kudos, Innovation, UX Design, and UI Design from CSS Design Awards, along with Honors and Mobile Excellence from Awwwards — establishing Nighthawks as a benchmark for independent fashion retail online.

Dazze Studio

Dazze Studio designs, builds and improves eCommerce stores for independent fashion and lifestyle brands, on WooCommerce and Shopify. Founded in 2019 by Jamie Davidson, who spent 14 years running eCommerce client side before starting the studio, latterly as eCommerce Director, for brands including Stone Island, C.P. Company, LN-CC and oki-ni. The design has to earn its place: it needs to look considered and perform commercially at the same time.
