Michael Madrid's personal site is a charming exercise in typographic minimalism. A single warm off-white canvas holds a large, characterful serif quote from Charlie Kaufman, centred and beautifully set, with a small "+" in the corner inviting visitors to poke around. Below, a friendly line of underlined links — travel tips, photos, advice — hints at the personality waiting to be discovered, all in an understated palette that lets the typography do the talking. It is a playful, human take on web design that trades flashy visuals for wit and craft. The site lives at michaelmadrid.com.
