Built by digital studio Area 17, the Mai 36 Galerie website gives contemporary art the refined, understated stage it deserves. A delicate spaced-out wordmark crowns a spacious white layout where John Baldessari's bold, colour-blocked works are shown large and uncrowded. Thin, elegant typography, a quiet three-tab structure and a clean news timeline let the artwork and biography breathe without distraction. Every margin feels deliberate, echoing the calm authority of a well-run gallery. It is a beautifully restrained piece of web design that trusts white space and type to carry the experience, live at mai36.com.
