Best Friends Forever

Best Friends Forever, or Bff, bills itself as "a design studio for misfits, dreamers and rabble-rousers," and its site has personality to spare. Built with UX by Miranda Unnerstall and UI by José Maturana, the site sets electric-blue type against a cool grey ground for a bold, confident look. A grid of black-and-white team portraits sits alongside a wonderfully offbeat blue line drawing of a figure lounging on a unicorn. Rich food photography from an in-progress project adds warmth and contrast to the crisp layout. It is fun, characterful web design lifted by charming illustration.
