Baubauwerk is a branding and design studio in Berlin, and its own site opens with a disarmingly direct hello set in big, friendly black type: “Hey, we’re Baubauwerk … we build identities, we build websites.” A small Berlin bear crest with red bars roots the studio firmly in the city, adding a touch of local wit to the otherwise clean white page. Along the bottom, a lively row of colourful project thumbnails previews the range of work, hinting at hover-driven exploration to come. The rounded, characterful typography and confident spacing give the studio a warm, human voice rather than a corporate one. It is honest, well-crafted branding and graphic design from a team clearly comfortable in its own skin.
