Ultraviolet Break of Day is a photography series by Marcus Wendt of/u00a0FIELD IO, described as a 'field trip through neon nights in China's metropolis'.
The nightscape photos feature the Kowloon area of Hong Kong as well as Shenzhen/u2019s Huaqiangbei 'World/u2019s Greatest Electronics Market'. During the editing process, Wendt explains that he used Lightroom to create 'improbable isometric perspectives to create a slightly alien and uncanny atmosphere that reminds me of early 1990/u2019s cyberpunk games and films like Syndicate or Blade Runner, which led to developing the aesthetic for this series.'
