This amazing architectural and photographic project was created for the Norwegian Wild Reindeer Centre Pavilion in/u00a0Hjerkinn on the outskirts of Dovrefjell National Park. The design was created by Sn/u00f8hetta, an interior and exterior architecture firm with headquarters in Oslo, Norway.
The building design is based on a contrast between ideas -/u00a0a rigid outer shell and a soft,/u00a0organic/u00a0inner core. /u00a0The wooden/u00a0core is shaped like rock or ice that has been/u00a0eroded by natural forces like wind and running water, and is placed within a rectangular frame of raw steel and glass.
