Garden Eight designed this delightful website for Snowsand, a Japanese winter confectionery of cream- and chocolate-filled biscuit sandwiches. The homepage sets its products against a hand-crafted, paper-cut snowscape beneath a vivid blue sky, with bare trees, rolling drifts and a winter-limited seal framing a stack of the sweets. Clean typography, a cheerful shopping-bag button and the bold “Snowsand” title give the seasonal treat a storybook warmth. It is a charming pairing of art direction and web design.
